Where to Fish in Moray

Conservation Codes
The Conservation of Salmon (Annual Close Times and Catch and Release) (Scotland) Regulations came into force on 9th January 2015. Further information is available at:   These regulations state that fishing by rod and line can take place from the season start date within the district until 31 March on a catch and release basis (any salmon caught must be returned to the water with the least possible harm).  Additional conservation measures are required under the Conservation Limits regulations for the Lossie District. All salmon and grilse caught on the Lossie must be released throughout the season.
